Since 1996, Plume Winnipeg has brought readers, writers, and literary communities together through the Winnipeg International Writers Festival (Thin Air) festival. As the organization evolved beyond one annual festival into a year-round home for storytelling, it needed an identity that reflected that growth.

Every design decision was guided and inspired by local storytelling. We love the symbolism of the traditional quill plume transforming into a book, the homage to Winnipeg’s tree canopy, and the playful colour palette that reflects the friendliness and creativity of Manitoba.
