President Bob Goulais is Anishnaabe from Nbisiing First Nation, and an experienced executive and communicator. Nbisiing Consulting provides professional advice and services in Indigenous relations and community engagement with First Nations, Métis and Inuit. They also offer cultural advice, Indigenous training, and Indigenous-specific policy, program or initiative development.

Nbisiing’s turtle logo needed just a little freshening up, and some brand assets like graphics, typography and colour palette developed to support it. Our brand strategist and UX/UI web expert, Amanda Carvalho led the design process. She created a custom brand pattern inspired by the word nbisiing, which is the original name of Lake Nipissing and means “small waters” in Ojibway. She also designed custom icons, and illustrations for the 7 Grandfather teachings Nbisiing Consulting’s values are based on.

We’re in love with every part of this project, but each time we see founder Bob Goulais’ big smile on the home page, we can’t help but smile back! Thanks, Bob, for choosing us to guide you on your brand and web journey :)
