Questions

People Ask Most Frequently
I have no idea what I’m doing. Is that a problem? 2017-03-05T15:24:37+00:00

Not a problem at all!

Developing your brand and planning your website is intimidating and the process can be complex.

It’s half art, half science and a dash of highly honed instincts—which is why working with someone who has education, skills, experience and innate talent is invaluable. It’s also why I’ve put together a brief outline of my work process to help get you started. If you have any questions about the topics that I’ve covered, or if there’s something specific that I haven’t gone over, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

How do I find the best website designer or brand stylist? 2017-03-13T15:24:01+00:00

Like a lot of things, this question is relative!

Every professional has different specialties, work processes, and ways of connecting with their clients. As the client, you’re the one who decides how much value each of those elements have.

Are you looking for someone creative, passionate, caring, motivating and dependable? Do you want someone who takes the time to connect with you and craft something personalized, authentic and beautiful? Do you want someone who’s invested in you and your success—and in it for the long haul?

If so, that’s me!

Let’s have a chat and build something beautiful.

So you’re in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Do we have to meet in person? 2017-03-13T15:24:23+00:00

Absolutely not.

Everyone has a preferred way of working and a lot of my clients live in different parts of the province, the country or the world. Whether you’re looking for a local Winnipeg designer so you can do things face-to-face, or you’re outside of the city limits (or the country!), we can get everything we need done via Skype, Face Time, phone or email.

However you prefer to work, I’m happy to accommodate!

How long does it take to complete a project? 2017-03-13T15:30:01+00:00

The average branding project takes between 2-4 weeks.

The average website project takes between 6-8 weeks.

Each project is different, of course, and I provide an ETA with every quote. Time frames also depend on how prepared you are. For example, if we are redesigning a website that already has images and text prepared, it will be up and ready to go much sooner than a site that has to be designed and developed from the ground up.

Depending on availability, I will accept rush projects with an added fee of 15% of the total project cost.

How much does a website cost? 2017-03-13T15:33:53+00:00

The average cost of a Bloom + Brilliance website is $3000. Smaller scale websites range between $1500-$2000. Larger scale websites can be $4500+. The price of your website is based on things like the scope of the project, special features, custom or stock graphics and photography, etc.

I offer packages for websites, stationery, branding and more to give you a idea, but rest assured that I evaluate each project individually. You won’t pay for something you don’t need or something that you’re not getting.

PS. I love to give back to my community when I can! If you are part of a Winnipeg non-profit or charity organization, please contact me with details of your project and we’ll see what we can work out.

How about payment methods? 2017-03-13T15:39:05+00:00

You can pay me with a good old-fashioned cheque, a fancy email money transfer or by credit card.

If you’re a Winnipeg-based non-profit or charity, I’ve been known to accept payments in hugs and/or cookies!

Get in touch for more details.

How about payment plans? 2017-03-05T22:27:36+00:00

We’re all used to working with a budget, and it can be frustrating to compromise on your vision because of dollars and cents. That’s why I offer payment plans for clients whose dreams are a little bigger than their pocketbook.

Just let me know in the beginning stages so I can outline a project and payment schedule that makes the most of what you’re working with!

Quite frankly, you sound amazing. When can we start? 2017-03-05T15:45:43+00:00

Aw shucks, you’re too kind!

I would love to sit down with you for a chat about your website, your brand, and whatever else you need! Please get in touch to set up a meeting.

I look forward to speaking with you!
