Lee Spence is a Muskego Ininew Iskwew (Swampy Cree woman), Métis originally from Treaty No. 5 Territory in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada where she was born and raised until furthering her education on Treaty No. 1 Territory, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Lee is currently operating as our Spiritual Care Manager to ensure our team and our clients feel safe, understood, and cared for.
Lee walks alongside others from a strengths-based, trauma-informed and wholistic approach. Her passion is integrating Indigenous knowledge and practices into projects, programs, and policy change, and creating space for Indigenous women and youth to speak their truth and create a powerful impact for future generations.
Lee has a deeply meaningful connection to the land and values creating a world that is good and healthy for the future. For fun, she loves memes, hanging out with dogs, and watching people just being goofy.
